Baby Madison

Meet Madison.  She is the sweetest, most delicate little thing!  When I arrived at their home and walked into her nursery I was SO excited to start shooting.  Her room had the perfect set-up for a newborn session with a bed on the wall opposite a big window, and a beautiful crib set up with adorable bedding.  This was the first newborn session I've done where I've photographed baby in their own bed which I loved.  After a bit of rearranging some of the other things in the room to make room for myself to move around we were ready...but little Madison was not quite ready to sleep yet.  She was fed and changed so we knew she just needed to get comfortable.  After trying a few techniques to no avail I decided to swaddle her up nice and tight and rock her a bit.  She slept peacefully through the entire rest of the session, including 3 un-wrappings and re-swaddles.  We decided to do some simple family pictures in their front yard which is a touch I really adore because the home you bring your first baby home to will always be special.  I really enjoyed spending my afternoon with this family.  They couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming.  Congratulations on your beautiful girl!
